Off-piste skiing is not only about skiing fluffy champagne powder. Quite often it means variable conditions affected by weather and other skiers; breakable or unbreakable crust, crud (one of my favorites), dunes, snowdrift, wind slab…or amazing spring skiing with corn and slush.
The focus is on your next step in this off-piste world. With off-piste skis and safety equipment we ski where it is safe and in a terrain that matches your level. We will ski through open, flat areas, steep and narrow, or in gladed tree skiing where the snow is well protected. If you are new to off-piste skiing we will also use the piste for some exercises and drills.
We begin with your awareness and help you explore what movements you are using at the moment. We go through safety aspects, tactics and choice of terrain. Each session has a short summary and a in-depth ski- & movement assessment combined with a plan for future technique and style improvement.
